Yes, Dermatologist's Choice Skincare products are certified cruelty free by Leaping Bunny.
Great question! We're glad you're here! Our founder, Dr. Bottiglione recommends starting off with the pH Balanced Cleanser and the Facial Enhancement Cream for the face and neck daily. Use the Pre-Bath Oil and Hand and Body Lotion for the body daily. If you don't feel the Trustworthy Tingle when using the Facial Enhancement Cream then graduate to the Glycolic Peel Cleansing Pads or the Ultra Anti-Aging Cream for more dramatic results.
First, it is normal, don't worry. The Ultra Anti-Aging Cream is formulated with a high percentage of active ingredients, the main one being Glycolic Acid (AHA). This cream is strong and comparable to a light Dermatology Chemical Peel. For best results, when the skin tingles or stings after application apply moisturizer or you may rinse off with water to soothe tingling. However, by rinsing the skin with water will still allow the active ingredients to work. If stinging or tingling continues decrease weekly use and seek to build up tolerance.The natural Glycolic Acid is derived from the sugarcane plant. It has been used for 40+ years to exfoliate the epidermis (top layer) of skin while entering the dermis through the pores to rebuild collagen. We have people of all skin types that use and love this product. Be patient as your skin builds up tolerance to the formulation. If irritation occurs temporarily discontinue use for a couple of days and reapply in combination with lotion.
Dr. B recommends starting off by applying a thin layer to your face and neck once a week for three weeks. Then build by adding an additional day every three weeks. For more oily skin a thicker application can be tolerated. For more sensitive dry skin a very thin layer is recommended.
If you experience redness or irritation after using a glycolic acid product, there are a few steps you can take to address it. Firstly, pause using the product until the irritation subsides. Then, consider switching to a lower concentration of glycolic acid or reducing the frequency of use. For example, if you have been using a glycolic acid cream or pads every night, try using it every other night or every third night instead.
In addition, it can be helpful to apply a plain, gentle moisturizer after using glycolic acid. This can help soothe the skin and reduce inflammation. Look for moisturizers that are fragrance-free and formulated for sensitive skin.
Another method, if you're comfortable with the skin redness, is to apply the glycolic acid for three days allowing the skin to become red and dry - this reaction is the glycolic acid entering the deepest layers of the skin. Keep in mind this is safe and it is unlikely any pigmentation will be caused. In fact, by allowing the skin to get red and dry the skin will purge the dead skin faster. That's good news because the fresh skin will come to the surface sooner. Apply regular moisturizer like the one in the Dermatologist's Choice Major Moisture Duo to condition the fresh skin. Repeat the treatment every two weeks for fresh, clear, and smooth skin - Step 1) apply Ultra Anti-Aging Cream three days in a row. Step 2) apply regular moisturizer for two weeks.

To redeem a promotion, simply enter the code you received in the box titled "Gift Card or Discount Code" during the checkout process. Please note only one offer code can be applied per order. Discount codes can not be applied to subscription orders.
Dermatologist's Choice is not responsible for lost or stolen orders. To ensure delivery please check your order shipping tracking number, provided via email 24 hours after an order is submitted. Also contact the post office service or shipping carrier directly for further information on a delayed and undelivered order shipment. Dermatologist's Choice is not liable or responsible for replacing lost or stolen product orders.
Stock availability is updated regularly. If an item is unavailable, it will be reflected on the product page.
You can check on the status of your order by clicking on the Order History page in the 'My Accounts' section of our online store or viewing the shipping tracking provided via email within 24 hours of an order being submitted.
Yes, we automatically send you an email confirmation of your order. In addition, we will send you another email confirmation after your order has shipped with tracking. If you have not received your confirmation, please double check the email address you provided.
Orders are generally processed within 24 hours. If your order status indicates that your order has not yet shipped but the merchandise is in stock, this could be the result of one of the following:
- We were unable to obtain a proper credit approval for your purchase
- We were provided a credit card billing address that could not be verified with your credit card issuer.
Please note that it's important to provide the phone number registered with your credit card issuer when you place your order, so that we may reach you to discuss any problems with your order. We use only verified phone numbers in an effort to further ensure your order's security.
To edit your account information, go to the My Account section. After logging in, you will have access to your general account information, address book, wish list, and order history.
To edit your billing and/or shipping address, follow the directions above in "Where do I make changes to my account?", and select the "Address Book" section. Once you're there, you'll be able to add, edit, or remove addresses used for billing and shipping. Please note once a order has been shipped the address for that order will not be able to be changed. Please ensure all necessary information is imputed correctly during checkout. Contact us ASAP to change the address on an order. We are not responsible for resending an order with an incorrect addresses.

Your credit card will be charged and processed at time of order.
If the credit card doesn't process successfully or an error message appears, check the shipping and billing address and credit card number is entered correctly. The system has a high security alert and will not accept a credit card if the billing address doesn't match the address associated with the credit card or bank.
We periodically update the packaging of our products, so it's possible that you may receive a product that looks slightly different from what is depicted on the site.
